SWITCHBOARD TESTING AND EQUIPMENT RECORD

Every switchboard produced is subject to the final inspection to the extent specified by regulations ČSN EN 60439-1 after which the Test report is issued. The switchboard technical documentation consists of the Test report, delivery note, drawings (real implementation, switchboard view) and the installation, operation and maintenance manual.

SWITCHBOARD INSTALLALTION

If the switchboards are to be installed by BREMA technicians, the procedure is as follows: Individual full sections are assembled to units and are fitted onto a stable steel base frame, embedded in the floor. The sections are then connected to one another and the whole unit is then welded or bolted to the frame. The main and safety busbars are then connected and all of the field joints are checked.

If the switchboards are to be installed by other skilled workers, it is necessary to keep in mind that in order not to void the warranty the switchboard installation has to be carried out by a specialized company.

OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE:

Operation and maintenance have to be carried out in compliance with valid regulations, directives and instructions by authorized staff only. The switchboards, especially links and grounding, have to be checked regularly. It is unacceptable to make any alterations that might affect the safety in operation of the switchboards.

PACKING, TRANSPORTING AND STORING:

Switchboard cabinets are first packed in the grooved cardboard and then in PE foil when in transport units. It is recommended to transport them in a box car and it is necessary during transport and storing to be particularly careful so they suffer no physical damage. Switchboard cabinets have to be stored in dry, dust-free areas at a temperature between -5°C and +35°C and relative humidity to 80% (at 21°C). It is unacceptable to store switchboards in wet areas or areas unfinished in terms of construction.

SHIPPING, WARRANTY AND PAYMENT CONDITIONS

Supply date and way of delivery contract including the cost of shipment has to be written. The customer accepts the goods after signing the delivery note and thereby confirms the validity of the amount and type of products as well as the statement that the products do not bear any visible defects or traces of damage.

The warranty period of products shipped and installed by us is 36 months, with the exception of components bought – their warranty period is specified by the manufacturer.

This period is valid from the date of delivery and is extended by the time of warranty repairs.

Terms of payment are specified in accordance with the type of transaction ranging from advance payment to giving an agreed due date.

Except for the above stated rules, sales conditions are subject to applicable regulations of the Czech Commercial Code.
