Switchboards

INDUSTRIAL SWITCHBOARDS

Industrial switchboards are used for distributing low-voltage electricity in industrial objects, distribution points, administrative complexes of buildings and other facilities.

Switchboards are piece-produced according to the project documentation. The construction department is able to elaborate the needed production documentation, based on the customer’s requests.

Classification of industrial switchboards according to their construction:

Cabinet:

Cabinet switchboards are produced in two variants: single-wing and double-wing.

Wall:

Wall switchboards are characterized by being of high quality and rich in equipment. They are designed not to visually disturb their surroundings, even if installed outside designated areas (e.g. offices).

Wall switchboards are produced in two variants: the surface type (designed to be fit onto a wall) and a cabinet type (built into a wall). Cabinet type switchboards are meant for use in areas where the aesthetical effect is important.

Classification of industrial switchboards according to their use:

  • Light switchboards
  • Technological switchboards
  • Distributional switchboards
  • Service boxes
  • Electricity meter
  • Socket boxes

Technical specifications of industrial switchboards:

Rated voltage: max. 1000 V
Rated current: max. 4000 A
Short-circuit resistance: max. 75 kA
Degree of protection in open state: IP 00 or IP 20
Degree of protection in closed state: max. IP 65

COMPENSATION SWITCHBOARDS

These switchboards are designed to automatically alter the power factor with the possibility to set up cos φ from 0.85 inductive to 0.95 capacitive load. Protected compensation switchboards are manufactured for networks with an occurrence of higher harmonic frequencies. For power networks with an occurrence of higher harmonic frequencies there are protected compensation switchboards produced. To decide whether to use protected or unprotected compensation switchboards it is recommended to do a power network quality measurement, which can also be done by BREMA. Switchboards are piece-produced according to the project documentation The construction department is able to elaborate the needed production documentation with reference to a favourable ratio of power / size / price / very good reliability, user-friendly and easy-to-use control.

  • Protected
  • Unprotected

Technical specifications of compensation switchboards:

Rated voltage: max. 1000 V
Short-circuit resistance: max. 75 kA
Degree of protection in open state: IP 00 or IP 20
Degree of protection in closed state: max. IP 65

TEMPORARY SUPPLY SWITCHBOARDS

These switchboards are designed for being either primary or secondary switchboards with the capability of measuring the power take-off for the operation of construction companies. It is possible to fit temporary supply switchboards with own electricity meters. Temporary supply switchboards cabinets are made of sheet steel and their surface is protected by thermo-reactive polyester paint, shade RAL 7032.

  • Combined (light and power point outlets)
  • Crane
  • Electricity meter

Technical specifications of temporary supply switchboards:

Rated voltage: max. 1000 V
Rated current: max. 120 A
Degree of protection: IP 44/20

MEASUREMENT AND REGULATION SWITCHBOARDS

For the more demanding of deliveries, switchboards are produced using industrial control computers, measurement and regulation devices, relays and semiconductor components.

Technical specifications of Measurement and Regulation switchboards:

Rated voltage: max. 1000 V
Degree of protection in open state: IP 00 or IP 20
Degree of protection in closed state: max. IP 65

SPECIAL SWITCHBOARDS

Operator consoles:

Operator consoles and panels are designed for control systems of production lines control centres and monitoring sites. They are custom-made by customers‘ requests.

Data cabinets:

Cabinets of specific dimensions designed for installation of data elements.

Replaceable frames:

Switchboard cabinets with replaceable frames allow replacing of all components of the original switchboard cabinet (including the door) to the current cabinet. This is especially suitable for the reconstruction of businesses that have high reconstruction speed requirements.

Corner sections:

Specially designed switchboard section. Due to its construction, it is possible to place it into the corner of a room (substation)

Bus bridges:

For linking split (remote) switchboards.

Technical specifications of special switchboards:

Rated voltage: max. 1000 V
Rated current: max. 4000 A
Short-circuit resistance: max. 75 kA
Degree of protection in open state: IP 00 or IP 20
Degree of protection in closed state: max. IP 65
